What We Believe
We believe in the triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as revealed in the written Word of God, the Bible (Old Testament and New Testament). The Lutheran statements of faith are found in the Small Catechism and in the Book of Concord.
God is the creator of all things. Human beings, the crown of God’s creation, fell into sin and we are lost forever without salvation from God. God sent His Son, Jesus, to be born of Mary and to suffer on the cross for the sin of the world. He rose on the third day and lives and reigns forever as Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit creates faith in us so that we may believe in Jesus as our only Savior from sin and eternal condemnation. When they die, those who believe in Jesus will be welcomed into the eternal glory of the triune God!
